Founded by Bob Fisher and his wife, Madelyne. Bob began his automotive career in 1947 at Burt Chevrolet in Englewood, Colo. In 1968 he moved the family to Boulder and purchased the Boulder Chevrolet franchise. The dealership was originally located at 33rd and Arapahoe, but is now located at Cherryvale and Arapahoe. Bob added many franchises over the years including Isuzu, Hyundai, Pontiac, and Honda. In 2009, Kia was added. Bob and Madelyne raised two children, Lynn and Craig. Bob passed away in July 2008. Today, Craig and Lynn operate the business with Craig’s son-in-laws, Mark and Scott, along with a staff of 120 employees.
Craig is dealer and president of Fisher Auto and has been in the automotive business for over 35 years. Craig enjoys spending time with family, especially with his wife, Jan. They enjoy skiing, biking, and hiking with their dog.
Craig now runs the dealership with his sons-in-law Mark and Scott.
