Designers Rona Bennett and Lan Chung combined their distinct personal styles and their undeniable love of fashion and vacation to create Fighting Eel. Born in the summer of 2003, this clothing company had its beginnings in the land of perpetual sunshine, Hawaii. Currently, Fighting Eel has 4 locations (downtown, Kahala, Kailua, and Waikiki). In 2012, sister brand to Fighting Eel, Ava Sky, was launched, designed by Lan Chung. Fighting Eel and Ava Sky designs provide you with the closet of your dreams! Celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Hayden Panetierre, Paris Hilton, Kristin Cavallari, Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Greene, Anna Faris, and Dakota Fanning have been spotted in Fighting Eel’s designs. Fighting Eel has also been featured in publications such as People, Life & Style, US, Cosmopolitan, Elle, New York Times, Jane, WWD and Lucky Magazine to name a few.
