Cristiano Creminelli’s family has been making salami for hundreds of years in the Piedmont region of Italy. He learned the craft from his father who learned it from his father.Now, Cristiano brings that Italian artisan technique to America with small-batches of American heritage pork hand-stuffed, hand-tied, and aged without nitrates.
He’s recreated classics like Barolo and Wild Boar and creating new favorites such as Whiskey, Americano, and Bacon salami.
That creatviity and attention to detail won him eight national food awards, including a sofi (TM) Gold and the respect of food lovers like Bon Appetit magazine who named Cristiano one of America’s Tastemakers as «The Salami Whisperer.»
