Our cats are all adoptable kitties that need homes and we’ve helped rescue them from high kill shelters. Welcome to Santa Barbara’s first cat cafe! Cat Therapy is a magical place where animal lovers get to cuddle and play with adoptable shelter cats in a relaxing, coffee-house like environment. Enjoy complimentary coffee & tea featuring SB Roasting coffee or stop by Brazil Arts Cafe for discounted items. We started this business with a clear mission in mind: Getting more cats adopted into loving homes. We also wanted to provide animal lovers in town with a space where they can feel at home and get their kitty fix.

Catalina Esteves is an Argentinean animal advocate, musician, & photographer. While volunteering at a local organization called ResQcats, she found a passion in helping cats find loving homes. This plus an interest in business sparked the creation of Cat Therapy. A social space where animal lovers can spend time with adoptable cats, and take them home if they fall in love. Catalina and her husband Marek Nold have successfully found homes for dozens of cats within months of opening the business. The space is also enjoyed by locals & tourists that can’t adopt at the moment, but still want to spend time with cats.
