Located in the renovated dairy barns at Los Poblanos, the Farm Shop is a retail space that represents the Southwest with artisan quality products ranging from the Los Poblanos lavender apothecary line to Native American jewelry and local ceramics. Wander in and explore a curated selection of crafts, books and unique gifts. The Farm Foods market offers pastries, espresso drinks, a light selection of lunch options and fresh artisan bread baked on site each morning in our steam injected European bread oven.
Matthew R.
Business Owner
There are now two generations of the Rembe Family that own and operate the historic Los Poblanos Ranch. In 1976, Penny and Armin Rembe purchased one half of the property from Albert and Barbara Simms, where they raised their four children and maintained the property as gentlemen farmers. In 1999, the second half of the property, which included La Quinta Cultural Center, came up for sale and was under threat of being developed. Together with their four children and their families, the decision was made to reunite the properties and undertake a plan to preserve the buildings, gardens, and open farmland in perpetuity. In their retirement, Penny and Armin ran the inn for five years. In 2004, son Matthew Rembe became Executive Director and has overseen and developed all areas of the business, from developing a wholesale lavender business to the addition of guest rooms, fine dining, and cultural programming. No se encontraron registros
