Lighthouse Seafood & Café

Since 2003, Lighthouse Seafood has provided dayboat fresh seafood every day. Our expanded market now includes a full-service Café with fresh seafood for lunch and dinner straight from our Market. A family-owned business, we support fishing families in Florida, sourcing our products from local fishermen bringing us the best from the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic. We also bring in fresh-never-frozen salmon from the North Sea, king and snow crab from the Northwest and fresh trout from Idaho. We offer varieties of local fish you won’t find frozen in the supermarket — mangrove snapper, triggerfish, hogfish — along with perennial favorites including red snapper, grouper, sushi-grade tuna and many varieties of local shrimp such as hoppers, Key West pinks and Royal Reds. Our Café serves craft beer and wine, and you can order off the menu or you can pick out something from our Market and have our chef prepare it.

Lighthouse Seafood Market & Café is a family business, run by Tim, Heather and Danny O’Leary. Growing up in South Florida, Tim and Danny were lucky to have a mom who loved seafood, carefully selecting prime fish and crafting flavorful recipes for her family. Tim and Danny soon learned to tell good fish from mediocre and to love the process, fishing the ocean and bringing their own catch back home for supper. Eventually, Tim, wife Heather and his sister Glenda landed in Lake Mary and launched Lighthouse Seafood to bring the best fresh fish to our local market. Today, Lighthouse has two locations — downtown Lake Mary and The Villages, run by Danny. The Lake Mary location is also home to our Café, offering table service and craft beer and wine. Our experienced chefs use the freshest items from the Market to prepare your favorite dishes, from seafood chowders to thick grouper steaks to conch fritters and crab cakes, along with our mom Evelyn’s Key Lime Pie.
