Lillie and Larry Wynant opened Wynant’s Family Health Foods on May 1, 1981. Lillie had been a nurse for many years and her family background of natural healing and her medical knowledge was a winning combination. She had worked in many of the health food stores in the area and already had a loyal following when she made her decision to open her own store. Lille and Larry retired in 1994 and sold the business to their daughter, Joan, and grandaughter, Tamara. Joan and Tamara have expanded the business from a 1300 square foot facility to a facility of over 6000 square feet. They now offer fresh organic produce, bulk foods, and a variety of natural foods, along with top quality herbs and supplements. They continue to offer supperier customer service with a friendly and knowledgable staff.
