Tim’s Oriental & Seafood Market became a reality for the Lim Family when they realized the closest place to get authentic Asian groceries was Houston, Texas – not economical! With a background in restaurants, Tim and Cathy opened San Antonio’s largest Asian market – right here in Leon Valley, on northwest side of San Antonio. You’ll find the groceries and fresh goods typically found on any traditional Asian shopping list right here in the family-owned Tim’s. From fresh croaker and snow pea leaves to all the sauces, snacks, herbs, rices and noodles you can imagine, “Tim-Tim’s” (as the locals call it) is your one-stop-shop for Asian goodies! BONUS: Fresh baked goods and live seasonal seafood (blue crabs, crawfish) arrive Thursdays after 6pm.
