Established in 2006.
We started with the idea of a concept store. A place where you could find lots of amazing, small boutiques each with their own character and charm. We’re different from any other shop in Richmond. Our retailers rent space from us with a year’s lease. Their monthly rent includes almost everything: credit card fees, utilities, staffing, merchandising, packaging and gift wrap, supplies, care & maintenance of the interior & exterior of the building. It’s a great way to have a retail business without the hassle of a brick & mortar establishment. Lots of our retailers have completely other professions. All the fun but none of the worries! Sam has basically grown up here! She started as a freshman in college. She was shy & quiet but wonderful with the customers and a super-quick study for all of our needs. A few years ago, she added to her repertoire with us by also becoming a vendor. Now, Sam is a graduate from VCU, School of Arts, with a focus on fiber art- and, she practically runs the place. She job shares with Teresa (we’ll save that story for another bio!) and together they are the perfect team! Thanks and here’s to you, Sam (& Teresa) !! You are amazing!!
