The Grain Shed has an unwavering focus on utilizing grains, produce, and proteins from small farms around Spokane. This allows us some of the most ethically grown and created products possible. We process all grains ourselves, from stone milling for flower to malting for brewing.
Established in 2018.
The Grain Shed was created a small bakery and brewery that showcased local agricultural products. This remains true to this day. We use grain from within 100 miles of Spokane that includes ancient heritage grains called “Landrace Grains”. We are starting to develop farm dinners, highlighting the various grains available in the region.Teddy, Joel, Shaun, and Don B.
Business Owner
The Grain Shed is a worker-producer cooperative that currently has four owners. The four owners are all original founders of the business. Teddy and Joel are the two brewer-owners, Shaun is the baker-owner, and Don is the farmer-owner. We started The Grain Shed as the result of many conversations around the lack of good, truly local cuisine and beer available to the public. Our goal was to not only create something delicious, but to show other business owners that you can do things ethically and still have people buy your product. No Records Found
