The Ecology Center believes in a culture that gives more than it takes. Our non-profit organization models creative solutions for thriving on planet earth. We believe everyone should have access to the tools, knowledge, and skills that promote healthy communities in the 21st century. In November 2008, Orange County native, Evan Marks began the work of transforming a dirt lot into a thriving ecological oasis. In 10 years, The Ecology Center has become a community hub, providing transformational ecological experiences for everyone. The Ecology Center offers hands-on learning experiences in our ecosystem, hosts educational culinary events celebrating local farmers and chefs, supports local artisans and makers, and shares locally-grown organic produce, pantry products, and ingredients to thrive at the newly-remodeled Farm Stand (previously South Coast Farms). Together, we are building a transformative community farm and an abundant future.
