The Cobblery has been a fixture amid the bustling landscape of Palo Alto since our family first opened its doors back in 1940. Now, four generations later, we are continuing the tradition of eclectic footwear and expert craftsmanship that we’ve become known for. Our inventory is selected with comfort in mind, and our store is designed much in the same way. When you walk in, you’ll be greeted with color and coziness, both in the decor and in the shoes you see! We carry shoes and accessories of all types, and we offer repair services so you can keep your favorite pairs for a lifetime. We love meeting new customers and catching up with the friends we’ve already made — we hope we can welcome you soon, too!

The Cobblery is a family owned and operated shoe store serving the bay area since 1940. A jewel of the peninsula, we offer a full service shoe and leather repair shop. Renowned for our four generations of fine craftsmanship. In our shoe boutique we like to share really special finds, like small unique brands as well as a few everyday favorites. We sell the work of many local artists from bags to jewelry. Jessica & Stephanee, along with their husbands, Richard & Stephen recently became the fourth generation owners.

The Store is run by Sisters, Jessica & Stephanee, along with their husbands Richard and Stephen. Each of them having been in the business for 15-20 years. They have a great appreciation for fine craftsmanship and luxury goods. They have a goal to keep all your favorite things in as original condition and as long lasting as possible.
