We specialize in cakes for all occasions, desserts and breakfast pastries. Some our daily offerings are croissants, cinnamon rolls, quiche, eclairs, cupcakes, ice cream, brownies, and petit fours. We also serve cakes, cheesecakes and pies by the slice. We offer gluten-free and vegan options. Our baked goods are handmade from scratch, using GMO-free and some organic, locally grown ingredients. We are open until 11pm daily for your late night dessert cravings!

The Sweet Life Patisserie was started by sisters Catherine and Cheryl Reinhart as a home business. The sisters made wedding cakes and special occasion cakes in their home bakery for the first six years. In 1999, they opened their retail location at 755 Monroe in the Jefferson Westside neighborhood of Eugene. Until 2004, the bakery kitchen shared the space at the retail location but the need for space quickly outgrew the small buliding so in that year, the sisters acquired a nearby building and moved the bakery production into it.

Catherine grew up loving to make fancy sweets. By the time she was 7, she was making cookies, candies and birthday cakes(even for the family dog!) Cheryl has a passion for making savory food but Catherine taught her almost everything she knows about baking and decorating. The two sisters are the general managers of their business and one of them is likely to be at the bakery on any given day, dreaming up new desserts and managing their 60 person staff.
