Sublime Cake Design is a custom cake studio in Redding, CA that specializes in one-of-a-kind cakes, cake sculptures, and cupcakes. We bake all of our cakes to order, and whip up the best buttercreams and other icings and fillings with fresh ingredients and local products. We pride ourselves in our ability to work with our customers one on one throughout every step of the ordering process to create a truly marvelous cake centerpiece for any event, and we stand behind our finished product. He has won local awards for his designs and flavors, and has recently been featured on Food Network’s newest all-night cake challenge “Duff Till Dawn”

“I started my artisic pilgrimage as a child, loving anything having to do with drawing, painting, graphic, or dramatic arts . . . But I never thought I would end up doing artwork on cakes. All it took was watching one episode of Ace Of Cakes on Food Network, and I was hooked. I began working for a family bakery, and learned everything about baking and caking on my own, and when I was able to throw my artistic vision into the batter, something magical happened.

I recieved the opportunity of a lifetime when my wife Tiffanie and I were asked to assist the famed cake artist Roland Winbeckler and his wife Marsha in two episodes of Ultimate Cake Off on TLC. It was definitely the biggest cake I had ever worked on, and the most cake I had ever baked (5,000 servings). I love creating personalized cakes and edible artwork that speaks to the recipient.
