I am completely self-taught it all phases of my jewelry operation… It began when I first discovered native American silver and turquoise and proceeded to go to Gallup New Mexico to buy jewelry.. In my innocence I purchased jewelry that was not handmade but mass-produced and at that point I vowed that I would teach myself this art… I exhibited it Native American arts and craft shows and received blue ribbons for my work people was so inspired that they said I should work in gold and platinum and so I expanded my education to the point of where I am today. I love satisfying people and seeing them happy

Born and raised in New York City… Started out in my own business doing custom leatherwork.. My shop was called” heavy leather Steve’s” located at one 30 1/4 E. 65th St. Right off Lexington Avenue.. It was there that I saw my first Silver and turquoise concho belt and fell in love with jewelry.. When I couldn’t purchase what I desire I vowed to teach myself how to make it… And continue to progress from there.. I now work in copper,Silver, Gold and platinum
