Our business specializes in Organic, Recycled, and sustainable Yoga/lifestyle clothing and props, books, DVD’s, candles, soaps, incense, aromatherapy and jewelry. Most of our clothing and products come from local sources, many from the U.S. and local artisans. We offer a beautiful, light, peaceful environment with excellent personal customer service. Spirit of Shakti was purchased in 2009 by Nora Coolridge who turned it into a Yoga shop where mostly organic and locally items were sold. She then sold it Sabrina who had the shop for 2 years. When Sabrina wanted to sell Nora purchased the shop back with her partner Regina Boykins who was also an employee of hers for 4 years when she owned the business. It’s been a amazing and wonderful partnership and we’re so happy to be back in business!

Regina and Nora are co-owners of Spirit of Shakti. Nora was the previous owner who sold it 2 years ago after a wonderfully successful 6 years and purchased it back with Regina (who was an employee for 6 years at Spirit of Shakti) 3 months ago. We are so happy to be able to continue offering organic locally sourced items to the community. Nora’s a Yoga and meditation teacher and Regina’s a healer which creates a wonderful loving and wholistic environment for the shopper. Our inspiration is to be able to offer conscious clothing and accessories for Yoga and meditation so we can stay in the true essence of the practice itself.
