Unlike inexperienced companies who mishandle and destroy handmade rugs with ineffective cleaning methods, we take the time to educate our customers on the uniqueness of their rug and the special care needed to maintain their work of art. Each rug is unique. Each rug is a work of art. That’s why the cleaning process for each piece varies depending on factors that include knotting, dye qualities, color conditions, and whether the rug is made of wool, silk, cotton, or viscose materials. Handmade rugs are an art form and among the most fascinating of human creations. Versed in the stories woven into the pattern and design of rugs from different parts of the world, this art form is my passion. As a child growing up in Iran, I fondly recall sitting mesmerized, watching my mother skillfully weave fibers through the tall loom before her. Inspired by my childhood, I developed a vision to learn this art and share it with others. I migrated to the U.S.A. where I earned a B.S. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from CSFU. Today, fusing science with art I’ve made that vision a reality. Every rug that comes into my hands is an art piece that I carefully repair, restore, and rescue. Contributing this way, I help to maintain this rich tradition alive for my valuable customers, all while paying homage to my childhood.
