Established in 1965.
The practice was started by Dr. Barnard in 1965 after his graduation from Loma Linda Dental School. More than 4 decades of successfull service to the Orcutt community later, Dr. Barnard decided to retire, trusting Dr. Waked with his patients and practice.

Hi my name is Emile Joseph Waked (Wake-ed). I would like to say “Hello”, and take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. In 1996, I graduated dental school in Europe and came to UCLA to further my education in Cosmetic and Implant dentistry. After three years, I graduated as a fellow in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. I started my career as an Associate Professor at UCLA, educating and training dentists, dental students and hygiene students. I got the opportunity to do some research, that I lectured on and published nationally and internationally. In 2002, I got married, became enchanted with the Central Coast and moved to Santa Maria; I practiced dentistry locally as an associate for the past six years.
I look forward to meeting each of you personally, to give you a chance to get to know me. I intend to provide you with the best dental care possible. I trust that you will continue to feel that you can have all your dental needs met in this office.
