We are accepting new patients. All our doctors are hospital-trained dentists having gone to specialized residency programs for pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, which are an additional 2-3 years of training beyond a general dentist’s training in order gain more experience and provide the absolute best dental care to your child. We provide pediatric dental and orthodontic services for both children and adults. Silicon Valley Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics offers treatment with or without sedation. Some sedation methods we offer include treatment with Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) and IV Sedation with hospital trained anesthesiologists. Our goal is to treat your child with compassion and create a positive dental experience for your child. We hope that our fun and informative visits will help nurture your child to have a positive attitude towards oral health that will last a lifetime. Our multilingual staff can speak Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Gujarati.

Silicon Valley Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is longest standing pediatric dental office in Santa Clara opening its doors in 1973. Our office is dedicated to providing safe and enjoyable dental care to your infant, child, or young adult. Being in the Silicon Valley, we are on the forefront of dental technology incorporating a Solea laser for both soft and hard tissue surgeries. Our patients have traveled great distances to be treated in our kind and humanistic environment. We treat patients in a kid-friendly, state of the art facility that offers digital xrays, digital impressions through iTero scanner, and offer both traditional and clear aligners (Invisalign) for orthodontics. We are a minimally invasive office that treats our patients how we would treat our own children.

Dr. Scott Ngai is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentitstry. He attended UC Berkeley and graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees in Molecular and Cell Biology and Public Health. Dr. Ngai attended the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, where he was an exceptional student receiving straight A’s in his clinical studies graduating with high honors. Dr. Ngai also served as the student President of the California Dental Association. He then completed pediatric dental residency at UCLA’s Ronald Reagan Medical Center (US News and Report’s Best Hospital of the West). Dr. Ngai serves on staff and as a clinical professor at UCLA’s Ronald Reagan Medical Center and at University of Pacific School of Dentistry.

Dr. Mednick attended UC Berkeley. He went on to pursue his dental degree and graduated with B.S. and DDS degrees from the UCSF School of Dentistry. He then completed an advanced pediatric dental residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
