Dr Fung is a native Southern Californian. Started as a dental hygienist then earned his dental degree from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Lawrence served in the US Navy for four years, including two years overseas in Japan. Inspired by Silicon Beach companies and startups, Lawrence has chosen to open his own dental practice with the same mission: to think differently, and to always challenge the status quo.

Currently Lawrence spends his extra time by serving on the Board of Governors at USC, is a faculty member of the UCLA Center for Esthetic Dentistry and is currently the team dentist for USC Athletics.
