SafeBuy was established in order to decrease the hassle of potential used cars buyers to take the vehicle for a pre purchase inspection before purchasing it. My name is Eran Eilat and I am the founder and the CEO of SafeBuy. I have been in the car business for over 15 years. I have an extensive experience with vehicles which includes purchasing, repairs and sales. The idea of SafeBuy came when I found out how difficult it is to secure a vehicle inspection before purchasing it. A process that might take days. From getting the seller to agree to take the vehicle to a mechanic shop, finding an available mechanic, bringing the vehicle to the mechanic’s location, leave it there for a day or more and usually come back late afternoon or sometimes the next day to pick it up. That long process discourages lots of potential buyers from inspecting the vehicle they want to buy and take a major financial risk buying a used vehicle without inspecting it.
