We started in Gonzales, LA in May of 1988, selling antiques, gifts and jewelry. We are locally owned and operated. We have evolved into a destination place for fine home and interior decorations and interior consultation. Our new location is on Airline Hwy and Burnside Hwy. (Hwy 44) in the Bayou Plaza Shopping Center. Please come visit.

James and Joelyn own and run Roussels of Gonzales. They have been married for 35 years and have 2 boys and 1 daughter and 1 grandchild. After raising 3 children , Joelyn has joined the day to day business operations along with James. We try to make our customers feel special with personal attention when they are in the store. We have gotten close to many of our customers over the years and have seen family and children grow and now we are seeing second generation customers shopping with us.
