Sylvain Rivet is a classically trained French Chef who is passionate about the art of fine pastry.

Now established in Charlotte, Chef Rivet delivers a selection of masterful interpretations of contemporary and classical pastries. He has honed his craft and developed his reputation over the last 30 plus years – from owning an award-winning restaurant, Amuse Bouche, in California; to teaching Culinary Arts at the Art Institute; and to leading kitchens around the world in international locations including France, Brazil, Japan, Greece and Morocco.

Throughout his travels he has always maintained his commitment to excellence. His dedication and enthusiasm provided him the opportunity to work for some of the biggest celebrity names in Hollywood including Oprah Winfrey, Sharon Stone and the Michael Jackson family.

Chef Rivet is now developing a community of devoted gourmets and foodies in the Charlotte area, as he brings his fine French pastry and bakery to historic South End.
