Our jewelry is hand-crafted by local artisans using old-world techniques and hand tools nearly identical to those used over a century ago. “Helen and I started Reflective Jewelry way back in ’95. Back then, Helen was designing, molding, and polishing jewelry in a snow-covered, unheated shed. Meanwhile, I was crisscrossing the country in an old car, walking into jewelry stores and selling the initial Reflective Jewelry collection of about twenty-five pieces… Over the decades our understanding of what it means to be in business has evolved. We started out just trying to make enough money to survive. We created a strong company, nearly lost it, and had to start over. I like to tell people I got my MBA in Haiti, because that is where I saw indescribable poverty and knew that whatever I ended up doing in my life, I had to alleviate suffering.
