My dream of opening my own store has sustained for almost 35 years since I started working in the business for a small independent jewelry store in Dana Point, California.
My light-bulb moment came last year when my daughter Presley asked me one night if I had any regrets. That was the moment that I decided it was time to do something about my long-standing dream.
I have lived in the North Park area of San Diego since 1999, when it was an up-and-coming neighborhood. It is now a very hip area, filled with great restaurants and specialty boutiques, the community loves to shop small and support their local merchants. At Presley & Co. Jewelers I feature talented, up-and-coming local and international women designers.
