Dr. Joey Troupe offers his patients comprehensive dental care including tooth-colored restorations, dental implants, Invisalign, pain management, emergency services, cosmetic treatment such as veneers and teeth whitening, fixed and removable dentures, oral cancer screening, night guards for TMJ and tooth-grinding, and more. Dr. Troupe has trained extensively around the country and takes pride in offering the most modern treatment that is available.

Formerly Superior Dental Care, Dr. Troupe has evolved Polished Dental into a modern practice utilizing state-of-the-art methods to provide early diagnosis and high quality, long-lasting treatment. Located conveniently on Fifth Ave. in the Park Building Downtown, Polished Dental serves patients from all of the neighborhoods and suburbs of Pittsburgh. The team at Polished Dental takes an active part within the Pittsburgh community and supports many local organizations and charities, including local animal shelters, food drives, local musicians and artists, Big Brothers Big Sisters, PrideFest, and our patients’ favorite causes.

Dr. Troupe has been recognized as one of Pittsburgh’s Top Dentists by Pittsburgh Magazine and focuses his practices on customer service, modern, state-of-the-art dental care, and building relationships with patients.

He grew up in Punxsutawney, PA, went to college and dental school at the University of Pittsburgh, and then completed an additional residency program at Allegheny General Hospital. He opened Polished Dental in downtown Pittsburgh in 2013 and expanded to a second location in Churchill in 2014.

Dr. Troupe enjoys rooting all of the Pittsburgh professional sports teams and Pitt athletics. He plays multiple instruments and is active in the Pittsburgh music scene. He loves animals, and participates in Pittsburgh volunteer activities as often as possible, including Big Brothers Big Sisters. He lives in Shadyside with his girlfriend Ashley and their two dogs
