One Heart Global Boutique

One Heart Collective is a global boutique providing a marketplace for over 27 artisans and ministries from over 20 countries worldwide, giving them the opportunity to sell their handcrafted items. Every purchases empowers artisans through job creation, or prevents child/ sex trafficking, restores victims of trafficking, supports widow and orphan care initiatives, etc. We have beautiful handcrafted leather, jewelry, home-goods, body products, direct trade coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more.

Established in 2016.
We started One Heart Global after working in prostitute row, a place where young girls (10-12) were being sold at night to feed the family. In addition, our oldest son, (who is adopted) was left at an orphanage as his mother couldn’t afford to care for him. We realized by providing jobs you help to prevent the circumstances leading to children being trafficked, abandoned, and orphaned. This store sells product handmade by individuals worldwide. The vision for One Heart Collective started my first Christmas back in America after living in Ethiopia. As I saw the staggering amount of money spent shopping for more “stuff,” my heart broke. I thought of the families we serve in Ethiopia who are barely able to feed their children, provide shelter, or meet their most basic needs. I ached for the children sacrificed daily to feed their families: sold as prostitutes, enslaved, or trafficked. I was certain God was calling me to become a voice for them somehow.
I knew of a number of ministries using sustainable income initiatives to empower individuals to make a living: working to reduce the poverty leading to these life threatening circumstances. Their greatest need, however, was a place to market their goods. I decided to create a global boutique, first online, an then a “brick and mortar” retail shop, where people could purchase items with the sales benefiting each project directly.
