My husband and I (Don & Shauna Wells) fell in love with the concept of tasting and pairing olive oils and balsamic vinegars before having to actually buy the product. Where can you do that? HERE at our new gourmet store (behind Ethan Allen and across the street from Strange’s Florist). Just West of Rt. 288.

After visiting a similar store in North Carolina, I asked my husband if he thought I could quit my career as a paralegal and develop this new business venture. He is a wonderful guy. So, using my legal skills, I fully researched our vendor, Veronica Foods. Over other suppliers and franchises, she stood out as the most passionate, down to earth, but blunt & honest person that I had met.

After, three months of research and visiting other stores, I quit my position and on April 14th, we opened up “The Olive Oil Taproom”. August 17th, we opened our second store location at The Shoppes in Bellgrade, Midlothian, VA.
