George has been in the pet industry in one way or another since he was a small boy using table salt to try to create a saltwater aquarium for himself. He’s come a long way since those days. After running a successful reptile rescue and expo, managing many pet store reptile and aquatics departments, and maintaining up to thirty office and residential aquariums, he and his wife decided it was time to open their own place. A shop where care of the animals, and education of the consumer came first. A place that would offer the more unusual, uncommon pets as well as those that could be found almost anywhere. They knew that if they could bring Georges extensive knowledge and Desirees determination they would have the best pet store anywhere, and from that Off the Hook Exotics was born.

George has been in the aquarium and reptile business for decades. He ran a successful reptile expo, housed up to 450 reptiles (including venomous) at one time, coordinated educational programs for local schools, set-up and managed several reptile and aquatics departments all over the Coraopolis/Moon Township area, has maintained several aquariums for both residential and office clientele, and has the years of experience needed to give sound advice. Always willing to go above and beyond in his dedication to the animals he loves, he will help ensure that the consumer is taking a healthy, well rounded animal when they leave here.
