I started out with a soup I made that was way to hot! That has now turn red into a business that has ten different sauces, catering and co-packing!

I started Monkey Spit after failing at music in Los Angeles. I was broke and hungry and tried to make a pepper soup with some left over Serrano’s my parents had. The soup was too spicy to eat so I poured it over some chips and cheese and Monkey Spit Original Hot Sauce was born. Friends and family all enjoyed the new hotsauce and on October 5th, 2008 I decided to go into business and share my “failed soup” with the rest of the world.
