With a 4,500 square foot showroom we have a wide sampling of chairs, desking, and panel systems to see, touch, and try. Our on-site 3,000 square foot warehouse affords us the ability to receive your product until you are ready for us to deliver.

Established in 1994.
Michael’s office was started over 25 years ago by Michael Rodebaugh. About 5 years later Herman Miller came knocking on the door asking Michael’s to carry the Herman Miller line. The relationship took hold with Michael’s agreeing to serve the 11 most Northern California Counties for the Herman Miller line. As a privately held company Michael’s also represents many other manufactures as noted on our Products Brand Page. In 2006 the current owners Bob and Holly Paget purchased the company after doing their due diligence in researching the Herman Miller line and relationship. What Bob saw in Herman Miller was a company rich in design and walking the talk about their focus on the customer, product design & development, their personnel, their relationship and the environment. While many things change over time Michael’s Office Furnishings continues to cherish the relationship with Herman Miller, our customers, and many other manufacturers to deliver what we like to call the Good Goods.

After serving as CFO and helping one privately held company in Redding go public and another company selling to another publicly held company it was time to change paths. While Bob was the go-to project person for these companies, and offered a position if he was to move, growing up and raising a family in Northern California, moving was the last thing he had in mind. Having bought product from Michael’s for home, for businesses he worked at, and learning Michael’s was for sale the decision was made to turn a hobby (woodworking) into a new career.

Working with his heads and hands, designing product, building useful pieces of furniture and working with people has always been a driving force in doing something that brings personal satisfaction and enjoyment. From a single chair or desk project to large scale new construction projects Bob’s goal is to serve and deliver products to meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.
