Established in 2013.
To live and thrive in Santa Fe was a dream of Karen and Scott Malouf since 1981 when Scott proposed to Karen on a snow covered ski mountain road. Their dream was finally realized in November 2013, when they acquired the location formally known as Packard’s. Karen spoke of this experience: “We consider it a privilege to continue the 400-year heritage of commerce in this historical location. We proudly represent the most reputable and leading jewelry designers in Santa Fe and in the Southwest. Our rug and weaving gallery has the very finest Navajo contemporary weavers, and our vintage collection is unique and rare. These old traditions are cherished, and new traditions have begun! We introduced women’s and men’s contemporary and designer apparel, shoes, and accessories to the shopping experience. Scott, with 40 years experience in specialty retail, brings his fashion forward approach to Santa Fe!”Scott and Karen M.

Malouf on the Plaza has been a dream of Karen and Scott Malouf since 1981, when Scott proposed to Karen in Santa Fe. Their dream was finally realized in Nov 2013, when they acquired the location formally known as Packard’s. The tradition of carrying the finest of Native American and regional jewelry artists, and our expansive selection of Zapotec rugs, along with our unique collection of vintage and contemporary Navajo rugs, is of paramount importance to us. Our historical location on the Plaza has been a place of commerce of some kind or another for over 400 years. That demands that we honor the efforts and high standards of those before us. This heritage has been our privilege to continue. After being in the family clothing business for 35 years, Scott Malouf opened Drest by Scott Malouf in fall of 2009 in Lubbock, Texas. His daughter, Marlowe Malouf, joined him in 2011 as the women’s buyer and the fourth generation retailer in Lubbock. No Records Found
