Along with our custom work we specializes in vintage and antique wedding rings as well as contemporary jewerly that is made with the highest quality diamonds. Our appraisals and design work are all done on-site and in-house by our own professional staff we completely eliminate the middleman and the accompanying mark ups that you’ll find at other jewelry stores. MALKA Diamonds is the newest part of a 15 year connection to the Portland diamond industry for the Malkas. David Malka Graduate Gemologist opened MALKA Diamonds with his wife & partner Ronnie 2 years ago and connected his jewelry appraisal expertise to a one-stop fine jewelry store that is most well known for their high quality and low pricing of diamonds, their excellent collection of vintage and antique engagement rings as well as their ability to craft exceptional custom pieces. What many MALKA customers comment on is the low pressure and fun vibe that is always present at the store.

Malka Diamonds is locally owned by the husband and wife team David and Ronnie Malka. David is a 3rd generation diamondteer, a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America and one of only a handful of graduate gemologists in the greater Portland area. As founder of Independent Gemological Services, He’s a recognized local authority on gem identification as well as diamond and color stone grading, with more than 12 years’ experience as an independent diamond purchaser and jewelry appraiser for retail and wholesale businesses throughout the Northwest.
