For over 30 years, people have come from near and far to Maggie’s Pharm to shop herbal teas, unique blends of oils, or just to peruse the many shelves of scents and trinkets. We hope to provide our customers with a unique and welcoming shopping experience by encouraging anyone to ask for customization of our products, making it perfect for just for them. Founded by Elizabeth “Beaver” O’Cain in 1980, located in the heart of Midtown in the Overton Sqaure area, Maggie’s Pharm was one of the few businesses that was able to stay strong through the lull of the Square. Now we are getting to experience the rebirth of this part of town as new businesses are opening and new people are flocking to the Overton Square area like they used to back in the day.

Elizabeth, or as friends and family know her, Beaver, started Maggie’s Pharm in the basement of an apartment building of a quaint area called Overton Square in 1980.

She wanted to bring homeopathic remedies to the people of the area, and sold a small selection of essential oils and herbs. Soon, as the business gained popularity, it grew too large for the basement.

She moved up stairs to a larger space where the store is presently located, and now offers a collection of over 250 medicinal herbs and teas, over 200 essential and perfume oils, and many bath and body products and trinkets.
