In the scenic artists’ hamlet of Carmel-by-the-Sea – a seaside jewel called a “playground for the rich and famous” – family-owned Khaki’s was created 18-years-ago by husband-and-wife luxury merchants, Jim and Connie Ockert. Today, entertainment celebrities and pro sports figures, along with media personalities, captains of industry, and retired CEO’s of Fortune 500 giants, mingle with locals and tourists, alike – all share a common denominator: all are passionate about their appearance. And all are passionate about their wardrobe.
