Jill Alexander proudly creates beautiful designer pieces for both plus and missy size women, our size range includes all sizes between 2 through 24.

Jill Alexander Designs was created with the premise that all women, no matter shape, size or age, have a right to feel beautiful and have clothing that fits their ever changing female bodies. Jill Alexander started her career in fashion at a very young age. After college she went to work for Ann Taylor. Having a curvy body herself, she learned quickly which shapes and fabrics would work for her. She took that experience back to school to study manufacturing. Her first piece, the 5 Way Wrap Jacket, was a huge success at the San Francisco Women’s Conference, selling out in just one day. Since then, women from sizes small through 3X have discovered her comfortable, flattering, versatile clothing and flock to her website, and two store locations.

Jill Alexander began her career in fashion over 20 years ago in the field of Visual Merchandising. After working for notable companies such as Ann Taylor, A Pea in the Pod and Macy’s , she branched out on her own as a personal stylist. She noticed a common frustration among women size 12 and over concerning fit. Clothes were generally boxy, untailored and disproportionate. Using the knowledge she acquired about fit and fabrication, Jill Alexander Designs was born. She knew that cutting fabric on the bias, while more expensive to do, creates a shape that glides across feminine curves. JAD utilizes the latest technologies by using luxurious fabrics that are blended with flexible fibers for an unparalleled fit and remarkable shape.
