Jerry’s Audio/Video has had 18 retail locations in Arizona. In 2009 we closed our showrooms and now offer a free in home consultation to our clients. This allows us to make the best recommendation after seeing the actual space that we are working in. In 1970, Jerry’s Audio/Video was founded by Jerry and Claudia Kowitz in a 900 square foot retail location in Tempe, AZ at “The Arches” strip mall (across from the Chuck Box) on University just East of Mill. Since then Jerry’s has had 18 locations throughout the state of Arizona. The company was founded on a passion for Music. The concept of High Fidelity sound is to try and reproduce exactly what the original artist recorded. This was Jerry’s passion from the beginning and he passed that along to his son, Michael Kowitz. Over the years the business has adapted through all of the changing formats (LP, Reel to Reel, 8 Track, Cassette, CD, Laserdisc, DVD, and Bluray)

Michael started literally, sweeping the floors in 1982. Over the years he has managed every position in the company and has attend multiple managerial training courses, including Disney University, PARA Management courses, CEDIA Management courses, as well as many other courses on customer service and business ethics.
