Established in 1990, this family-owned business has two stores: Swiss Connection in Dana Point and Jean-Jacques Mamie Fine Jewelry at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach. Both locations offer custom designs, diamonds, designer jewelry and fine watches.

Jean-Jacques Mamie is a GIA Graduate Gemologist, Jeweler and Swiss Graduate Watchmaker. Jean-Jacques, a native of Switzerland, came to the United States to instruct American watchmakers to work on Piaget, Corum, Movado, Cartirer, and Concord products. While in the United States, Jean-Jacques graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) with a degree in diamonds, colored stones, and jewelry. Together with his wife, Nina Ramella-Mamie, who has experience in retail, they established their first store in 1990. Eventually they added the name Jean-Jacques Mamie Fine Jewelry to the second boutique located in the Monarch Beach Resort.
