Dr Mendoza and the iTooth Dentistry staff firmly believe that prevention and education are the keys to ensuring one’s optimal oral health. At every appointment, all patients are encouraged to ask about their oral health and how to improve upon it. Through his extensive dental training at the UCLA School of Dentistry, one of the nation’s most prestigious medical universities, Dr. Mendoza will share the most up to date technological advances in the dental field and how they can be best used to serve the needs of you and your family. Our philosophy is that by treating decay and gum disease early, more extensive emergency type treatment can be avoided. Dr. J.Carlos Mendoza has been in the field of dentistry for over 10 years, including 6 years practicing in Central California. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science (2004) and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from one of America’s most distinguished dental schools, the University of California at Los Angeles (2009). At the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Mendoza received the prestigious National Health Service Corps.

Dr. Mendoza, is dedicated to educating, treating, and maintaining his patients’ optimal oral health in a manner consistent with his education at UCLA School of Dentistry, which focused on “putting the patient first”.

During his leisure time Dr. Mendoza enjoys training for and competing in triathlons, playing soccer, and learning new languages.
