He and his staff are successful in this business because of their ability to solve design problems. Whether working with a clients to solve their furniture dilemmas or layout concern, they listen to the client, identify the problems and give a solution. When the opportunity to own the HGTV Home Design Studio by Bassett came along, Scott immediately, added this great furniture line to all the interior design projects. Scott Dean has been in the interior design profession for more than 25 years starting in Boulder Colorado. He has had design studios in Valley Junction West Des Moines, and two in Urbandale. His new venture with HGTV Home and Bassett furniture is the most exciting part of his career and he hopes to have an HGTV TV show one day. Scott has done design in many states including Florida, California, Minnesota, Texas, South Carolina and Virginia just to name a few.
