Their ‘Harkness Mattress’ Sleep Center, right next door, features Simmons, Serta, Emerald and Tempur-Pedic sleep systems.

Harkness Furniture was founded by Scottish immigrants James and Margaret Harkness. It was expanded upon and flourished under second generation owners, Jim and Dorothy Harkness. Dave Harkness and his wife, Cyndi, took over full management in 1987 and in 2010 Kellen Harkness, fourth generation, became the operations manager.
