Gurinsky’s Fine Jewelry is owned by Rhonda and Charlie Gurinsky who have been in San Antonio, TX for over 30 years. It’s a long way from milking cows to owning and operating a jewelry store, but Charlie Gurinsky has successfully bridged the gap. With his father operating a successful dairy, it was no surprise that Charlie studied agriculture and ran the collage dairy while attending SW State University (Texas State). Charlie decided that milking cows twice a day, 7 days a week wasn’t for him and he searched for greener pastures. Within 5 years, he had learned enough and saved enough money to open his first jewelry store in Central Park Mall. After 15 years, there were 10 Gurinsky’s Jewelry stores around San Antonio and Austin.
