In our kitchen, we believe in the power of simple ingredients provided by the earth. That’s why we seek out local farmers and organic purveyors who are as passionate and conscientious as we are about what they grow and make. We do it with passion and joy. Hi there! I’m Sway, the creative earthling behind Forest & Flour. F & F began because I can’t eat gluten, dairy, soy, corn, and a whole lotta other stuff. Having had a hard time finding food that I can feel safe to put into my body, I started making my own because I don’t want refined sugar, potato, and tapioca starch in my bread, at all. A few years back I started studying medicinal herbs and foods. So you will find our creations are nature-encompassing! Thinking back, this journey had started a long time ago – as someone who had struggled with addiction, depression, and eating disorders – I’m grateful to have found ways to support my health. And now, I want you to have peace of mind when it comes to finding something good to eat, too! As Forest & Flour grows, you will see us continue to embody what we believe in – creating a world that is good for the future generation and giving back to our community. Together we can do more.
