Facets started as an outlet for Suezann Rushing’s design and fabrication skills, and while that remains the foundation of the business Facets is, well, multifaceted with work from artisans both near and far. It’s a eclectic mix of jewelry, sure to appeal to the tastes of many.

From her first art class in high school, Suezann (Sue) was hooked on the beauty of form and design. The daughter of an engineer and an artist, jewelry seemed like the perfect use of her inherited talents.

She spent 18 months learning the basics of jewelry fab- rication at MAV Technical Institute, graduating in 1982.

The next eight years she honed her skill as a bench goldsmith in stores in Phoenix, AZ and La Jolla, CA. Then, in 1990 she moved to the Rogue Valley with her husband, Robert. After stints with several area jewelers she made the decision to open her own store. In 2005 Facets Jewelry Studio was born.

For more than a decade now she has been making Rogue Valley customers happy with her dedication to service and excellence. Her reputation for her ability to “get inside the client’s head”, to make the perfect piece for each of them precedes her. What will the next 10 years hold? Stop by soon and find out!
