Elgin’s Fine Jewelry was founded in 1986 by Richard Elgin, and originally located in the Hammond Aire shopping center. For 30 years, we have built a vast customer base in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area, providing our customers with unparalleled friendly service and the highest quality fine jewelry at an incredible value. In March of 2009, we moved our location to the Bluebonnet Square shopping center at the corner of Airline and Bluebonnet, and our business has greatly benefited. The new store is also very beneficial to our customers, with a convenient location and ample parking. Mr. Elgin has over 43 years of experience in the jewelry business, beginning his career with Campus Jewelry in 1973. Our staff is also highly qualified, with over 75 combined years of jewelry experience.

Mr. Elgin’s passion for jewelry began in 1973 at Campus Jewelry near LSU. He worked as the manager, gaining valuable experience until he decided to open his own store, Elgin’s Fine Jewelry, in 1986. He has built a thriving business based on superior customer service and attention to details. His passion is infectious to his employees, as well as his ever-growing family of customers.
