Eco Farms

We are a grower, shipper, packer and distributor of avocados, organic citrus, and exotic fruit such as dragon fruit and kumquats. We offer custom bagging, private retail labeling, custom ripening, full load and LTL delivery, and various packing styles. We are also the only packing house on the West Coast that uses Apeel – a plant based coating that extends the life of fresh produce.

The company was founded by two friends, Steve Taft and Norm Traner in 1974. As organic growers themselves, they began to pack and sell their avocados.Over time, the business grew into a flourishing grower, packer and shipper; working with growers in California, Mexico, Chile and Peru. The varieties of fruit expanded as well. Today, Eco Farms grows, ships, packs and distributes organic and conventional avocados; organic citrus; and exotic fruit such as Kumquats and Dragon Fruit.
