We make the finest homemade chocolates, popcorn, and ice cream, using our own recipes and only the finest ingredients.
On March 17, 1956 when Don and Elma Stepp opened their homemade candy store in Casper, Wyoming it was destined to become a family tradition. After his Navy service, Don worked for Peter’s Popcorn for several years, learning the confectionary trade. He and his wife, Elma then decided to open their first store in Colorado Springs, CO and operated it successfully for four years. They decided to move north, and after a visit to Casper, picked the site for their new store. They worked many hours handcrafting chocolates, fudges, popcorn and many other candies, as well as packaging gifts for all occasions. Their son Mike and Elma’s mother were recruited for manpower during the holidays. Over the years Mike’s four children have added their talents as well. Many things have changed through the years, but one hasn’t. The quality that comes from the care and only the finest ingredients are still a part of each recipe prepared by three generations of candy makers.
