‘Cerri Feed Co.’ was established in 1937 in Stockton, CA by brothers Bruno Sr. and Joe Cerri. With it’s modest beginnings, Cerri Feed began as a hay and grain supplier for local farmers. As the business grew, Bruno Sr. & Angela Cerri’s son, Bruno Martin, began working alongside his parents and uncle to run the family business. In 1982, Bruno M. married his now wife of 33 years, Emma, and she began working alongside her husband and in-laws. In December 1990, the Cerri family decided to lease the feed store to Cargill, the largest privately owned corporation in the United States, and retire from the business. After leasing Cerri Feed Co. for 25 years, the Cerri family; consisting of Bruno M., Emma, and their children Bruno J. and Elizabeth, decided to run the business again under the original ownership.
