She is educated in the Huggins Protocol, the IAOMT protocol and biocompatible dentistry. Dr. Simonsen is a member of the ADA and the California Dental Society.

Carmel Family Dental was established in 2014 by Dr. Hilary Fritsch. Dr. Anne Simonsen joined Dr. Fritsch as an associate in 2016. Working side by side to ensure patients the best treatment, Carmel Family Dental has grown to be a great practice. Many patients love the calming, spa like atmosphere of the office. Patients love the high technology equipment used, as well as the family feel the staff provides. In 2020, Dr. Fritsch moved out of state to pursue a life long dream of living in the mountains. Dr. Simonsen stepped up and took ownership of the practice with the goal to keep providing excellent service and to keep building great relationships with patients and the community.

Dr. Anne Simonsen is a family dentist, wife and mother of two. She is the owner + operator of Carmel Family Dental in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where she resides with her family. She has been a dentist since 2007 and is passionate about health and wellness. Anne is committed to providing outstanding, compassionate care to her patients. Continually keeping up-to-date with the latest dental technology, research and surrounds herself with an exceptional team.

She loves educating and empowering her patients and their families to optimize their health. Anne strives to find a customized approach for her patients, focusing on stabilizing the oral microbiome, achieving ideal function and beautiful esthetics. She reduces her carbon footprint both at home and the office by partnering with companies that offer sustainability – biodegradable floss, toothbrush recycling, and operates her state-of-the-art dental practice by minimally impacting the environment.
