Our original location on Government St. is located right in the heart of Baton Rouge – in ‘Mid-City’, as locals would say. We’re on Government St. between N. Acadian and S. Foster – right across the street from La Carreta Restaurant.

Calandro’s Supermarket has the best quality and selection of gourmet, fresh, and hard-to-find foods that you want. We also carry all of the grocery staples you will ever need. It’s a one stop shop! We have a beer, wine, and spirits selection that rivals even the best boutique liquor shops in Louisiana. Calandro’s has been a mainstay in the Baton Rouge community for 70 years. Calandro’s has been a family-owned specialty grocery store that has been a fixture in the Baton Rouge community for over 74 years. There are now three generations of the Calandro family involved in the operation and success of the company. We started our store and continue to offer amazing groceries, produce, meats, spirits, etc. on the corner of Government Street and Edison Street in the Mid-City area of Baton Rouge. We opened our second location in 2000 on the corner of Perkins Road and Siegen Lane in South Baton Rouge. This location is slightly larger and offers our unique service, quality, and selection to the southern part of the city.
